Summer Drivers Education

Classroom 8AM-11AM (July 5-8, 11-15, 18)

Driving 11AM-5PM (July 5-21)

This course is regulated by the State Department of Education and is conducted through Bartlesville High School.  Its purpose is to provide students with crucial information and proper driving technique for eventual unrestricted licensing.  Students must be 15 years of age before actual driving instruction.  To ensure equal opportunity, registration is taken on a first-come, first-served basis.  Tuition of $230.00 is due upon enrollment (cash/check payable to ISD#30)  Students must complete 30 coursework hours, 4 written exams, and 6 hours of guided-driving.  Irresponsibility regarding course obligations can result in reduction/loss of credit and forfeiture of tuition.  A half-credit, GPA letter grade, and exemption from state written-testing are earned for successful completion of this course.  Classes and driving times may be adjusted, as necessary, by instructor (Monty Unruh, 918-287-7559, unruhmd@bps-ok.org)
