The Bartlesville High School Technology Student Association won first place in the TSA General Session of the Fall Leadership Conference in Norman with its promotional video.
The student-led organization emphasizes activities in STEM: science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. TSA includes field trips, STEM competitions, coding competitions, and more. The national TSA STEM competitions include topics over a wide range such as video game design, debate over technological issues, and dragster design. The local TSA also hosts board and card game events. The high school sponsors are STEM teachers Jeremy Williams and Ashlee Hightower and the video features students in computer science, pre-engineering, and aeronautics classes taught by them along with Jeremy Hanks and David Ayres.
