Progress continues on the new Agriculture Center southeast of Bartlesville High School with work on wall insulation and metal panels of the small barns east of the small arena.
Voters approved a bond issue in 2021 to build the center. It will augment the existing classrooms and shop nearby at 18th and Crestview. The center will add a small show arena and small barns. It will also add another classroom, a boon to the program, which grew to three teachers this school year.
Thanks to a donation from the Lyon Foundation, two greenhouses will later be constructed south of the main structure. The center is slated for completion in the spring of 2024.
Pathfinder Parkway parking and access remains available just north of the construction site. Turn off Shawnee/Jim Bohnsack Avenue just north of the construction site and veer north/left to a temporary gravel parking lot with Pathfinder Parkway access.
