At the baseball-themed Bruins of the Year event on April 6, math teacher Gretchen Watson was honored as the Bartlesville High School Teacher of the Year. She was introduced by student Cooper Wood.
Math teacher Michael Wood was honored as the Bartlesville High School Rising Star Teacher.
Susan Vincent was honored as the Classified Person of the Year for Bartlesville High School.
BHS chemistry teacher Kelsi Rector was also recognized as the district's Secondary Rookie Teacher of the Year.
Recognitions also included a 35-year service pin for biology teacher Betty Henderson.
BHS social studies teacher Mitsuye Conover and Athletic Asst. Director Terry Hughes have been with the district for 40 years. (Terry was away on business.)
