The Bartlesville Board of Education will be voting at its next regular meeting to hire Brandon Willis to be the school district’s next Bruins soccer coach.
Willis played soccer in England for 14 years, playing Semi-pro Soccer and trialing at Brighton Hove Albion and QPR. He then went on to play for Oklahoma Wesleyan University in Bartlesville from 2013 to 2017, helping the men’s team advance to four national tournament appearances reaching the elite 8. During Willis’ playing career, they won three regular-season conference championships and two conference tournaments. He has been the Oklahoma Wesleyan Women’s Soccer Assistant Coach since 2017.
After graduating from Warden Park High School in Cuckfield, England in 2010, Willis obtained a Diploma in English Language and Business and Technology Education Council (BTEC) in Sport and Exercise at St. Paul’s Catholic College in Burges Hill, England. He then went on to earn a Bachelor of Science, Sports and Recreational Leadership in 2017, a Master of Business and Administration in 2019, and a Master of Strategic Leadership in 2020 at Oklahoma Wesleyan University in Bartlesville, Oklahoma.
Brandon is married to his wife, Amber, who works at OKWU as Assistant Athletic Trainer.
